
READING CLINIC
The concept of Reading Clinic, a place created to treat inadequacies in reading and to encourage and enhance literacy level. The reading Clinic was officially opened to the public on Tuesday 26th July 2011.
WORKSHOP AND SEMINARS
At several times, we organized workshops, seminars and training sessions for students, teachers, parents and other stakeholders in the education sector. RASDA co-ordinated reading awareness campaigns for the students of the Polytechnic, Ibadan, University of Ibadan and Obafemi Awolowo University.


MARKET CAMPAIGNS
RASDA introduced other unconventional means of reach-outs. We took campaigns to markets in Ibadan, telling the market women who are mostly illiterates to join hands in encouraging their children to read always.
COMMUNITY OUT-REACH
The campaign style of RASDA was unlimited to cities. We held series of community based meetings with parents, teachers community leaders, traditional rulers and the generality of the people in villages and hamlets, spreading the benefits of cultivating a sustainable reading culture to both young and old.

DONATIONS OF MATERIALS AND BOOKS
RASDA donated:
10,000 copies of READING AWARENESS POSTERS to all the government owned primary schools in Oyo State.
4000 copies of READING AWARENESS POSTERS to all the government owned secondary schools in Oyo State.


TRAINING/INTENATIONAL MEETING
In other to attain new frontiers, RASDA participated in many local and international programmes. Our drive in this direction has taken RASDA President to some international forums where she delivered Papers and showcased RASDA activities on projected screens.
